This HDMI extender performs as advertised. It also has a nice status light that adds value because the user can verify connection via status light.

(1 stars) - DO NOT BUY!
DO NOT BUY THIS! When you plug your HDMI cord into the prong, it will bend the prong and cause it to break away from the face plate. The prong is connected to the face plate with cheap plastic and unable to stand the force of the HDMI cord pulling it up or down in the outlet box.

(5 stars) - No surprises, is what it is
This is a decent, functional product. Very straight forward and worked just fine after I connected a 15' HDMI cable to the back of this through my wall to my television and a 3' HDMI cable from the plate to my receiver.

Very clean finish. Would recommend this to anyone needing this type of product.

Works great and looks good. I ran a 50' HDIM cable through the attic and down the walls(puchased from Firefold.com) from a HDMI splitter (2 Port HDMI Splitter purchased on Amazon)to split my Sony Blueray player signal to a 52" Sony Bravia and 19" LCD TV, both wall mounted (can view same DVD on both TV's simutaneously or individually) and this HDIM wall plate worked great to terminate the ends behind each TV.

I used these plates to run hdmi from my playstation 3 in the living room to my LCD in my bedroom. They work great and fit well in any Decora style cover plates made by Leviton.
