I've owned several dental picks in the past and have found them useful for many tasks. The good ones I use until I lose them, and the bad ones break first. These will surely be lost first, as they are very sturdy. Indeed the handles are thicker and heavier than I've encountered before. The hooks are strong and tough but not brittle. All and all a very nice set at a very affordable price. I appreciated the free shipping - or rather than the shipping was included in the price.
