|
Product Details Morning Glory, black-purple flowers with a cerise throat in abundance on this climber to 4 feet, flowers from July to October. Easy to germinate and grow, very heat tolerant prefers full sun. If transplanting, start indoors 5-6 weeks before transplant and harden-off before final placement. Direct sow after danger of frost.
Product Reviews (1 stars) - wrong color Out of the 10 seeds sent only 4 survived. Iwas sent 5 more and only 1 germinated. Now the plants are doing well but the flowers only open in blue, very similar to the Heavenly Blue. Will the flowers eventually turn the colors as in the picture?

(5 stars) - Intense growers I was so impressed on how quickly they grew and climbed up my fence. I wanted to beautify my city backyard and this was perfect. The color of mine appear as the photo for me, maybe a tad lighter. I planted white morning glories on the other side of my yard, and they are coming out fine, but this color seems so much more prosperous. I even have to go out there once a week and make sure they don't grow onto my neighbor's furniture! As for the seller, they were very quick!
(5 stars) - beautiful I purchased these seeds last spring. It took awhile for the vines to flower, but once they did boy were they spectacular! If you container plant these seeds, be sure not to let the soil dry out. I have so many seed pods from these 3 vines its crazy! SO many flowers! Also, the color was nothing like in the posted photograph, but were more of a very vibrant amethyst purple with a crimson veining. Not burgandy-ish at all, but very beautiful regardless.
(4 stars) - A nice addittion to the yard.
I planted these late spring so they didn't have as long a growing season as the rest of my morning glories. I planted them a good distance from my other varieties but still got a mixed bunch. Some of the flowers were a medium purple, but over half were a deep rich purple that was very nice to see.
(4 stars) - great seeds, but not "black" These seeded really easily, but the photo shows a deep dark maroon flower, and my flowers were more of a deep purple. Otherwise, fantastic and easy to grow.
