It is metal with glass lens and great for simple usage. If you are a professional, I don't recommend this because I can see a "wavey" image. But for $3 and free ship.... Can't beat that.

Wow, delivered in just a few days. That was unexpected.

I compared the loupe against the little magnifying glass in my Swiss Army knives (Victorinox Swiss Army Champion Plus Pocket Knife and the Victorinox Swiss Army Swiss Card). Victorinox delivers HIGHER magnification and a larger & clearer field of view.

I wasted my money on this product but it was a small loss. Do yourself a favor and go knife shopping instead. Unless you like the loupe for it's gadget factor, it is cute. I'll save mine as a gift for someone.

true to addvertizement. these are the correct magnification.
They showed up scratched tho.
really badly made, like it came out of a 25c machine at the local grocery store.
Really I mean BADLY MADE!
The sheet metal case is so sharp and unfinished, I cut myself trying to open it.

THIS LOUPE/MAGNIFIER CAN BE USED FOR BOTH 10X POWER AND 20X MAGNIFICATION BUT SACRIFICES THE NORMALLY EXPECTED SIZE FOR EITHER LOUPE TO DO SO. IT IS A HANDY ITEM TO HAVE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO CARRY TWO DIFFERENT LOUPES AROUND WITH YOU AND IT IS A HIGH-QUALITY PRODUCT. YOU STILL MIGHT DESIRE A SEPARATE 30X LOUPE.
