The greatest thing about Dr. Michael Roizen is that he isn't trying to sell you anything. He's not pushing special supplements or frozen dinners. He recommends things like getting the right amounts of calcium and Vitamin D, but the vast majority of his advice is to do things like take long walks; call a friend; eat nuts; floss your teeth; and do crossword puzzles--all of which help keep your body younger and leaner. Roizen admits he doesn't know why things like eating breakfast are so important, which is part of his appeal. He's a genial fellow who doesn't try to overwhelm you with scientific research, but he makes clear--in a calm, affable voice, and with the aid of occasional computer graphics--that your body responds to the choices you make in your diet and lifestyle. The two DVDs in The Dr. Roizen Collection cover a lot of the same territory (for example, Roizen can't stress enough the importance of walking 30 minutes a day), but The Real Age Makeover is focused on rejuvenating your body and YOU on a Diet emphasizes ways to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. The format for both is the same: Roizen addresses an audience from a stage, occasionally having spectators come forward and touch body parts to experience, for example, the contrasting textures of a healthy and an unhealthy lung. But though the set-up is static, Roizen's low-key manner proves surprisingly engaging. All in all, it's a pleasant way to get some commonsense advice. --Bret Fetzer

I really like what Dr. Roizen teaches in this DVD,you really got an idea of how you should act to have a better quality life and loose weight.
I just don't think it is complete.
