(2 stars) - Okay clock, but not all that great
The numbers both on the clock and projected are small. The backlight for the clock only works for a couple of seconds after you press the button (not a continual light). In the daytime, the projected numbers can't be read (too much light) and the numbers on the clock are too small to be seen unless you're pretty close. I found the buttons to be clunky and confusing -- will definitely need to keep the instruction manual close by! The temperature display is great.

Projection Alarm Clock with IN/OUT Temperature
This was a replacement for a similar LaCrosse projection alarm/weather unit which had worked fine for years until squirrels destroyed the exterior sending unit. The new one looks better and has a somewhat clearer display. However, the sending uint seems to be off about 6 degrees and I have written the company via e-mail twice. In both cases they have posted a notice that they are overwhelmed with post-holiday messages and support requests so it could take a couple of weeks to hear from them. I find this unusual, at best. Also, I do not understand why when the unit it running on AC power rather than batteries the backlight cannot stay on. The instruction/owner's manual is not eay to read and setting are not intuitive. As I had a similar unit, I was better prepared than a new comer" might be to follow the instructions. Basicaly a good, solid product with sometime erratic support and questionable rationale for how it performs.

It's great to wake up in the night and look up at the ceiling and be able to tell the time, but even better to see the outside temperature. It projects big enough to be able to see very clearly.

I just purchased this for my inlaw's Christmas gift. Just like mine and the others I have purchased in the past it is a big hit. Having the projection feature is wonderful. When we travel away from home we miss it. I love these clocks and highly recom. them to everyone.
