Have a PS3? Watch Movies? Then you need this.

One of my most-used accessories since the PS3 launch has been this remote control. As a big movie watcher, this is an absolute necessity.

The layout is very nice, easy to use and feels very solid. If you've ever used the PS2 remote control, this is a big improvement.

Every button you'd need is available via the remote, and none of them feel awkwardly placed like the previous remote control. In addition to the standard controls you'd expect, the remote includes blu-ray specific buttons (Red/Green/Blue/Yellow), an Eject button and a PS button (which, if held, allows you to turn the PS3 off).

One of the big benefits with this remote is the bluetooth support - unlike other appliances which require a direct line of sight between the remote and the system, this control allows you to be in another room and still have full control over the PS3. Sounds useless, but it actually comes in handy if you have anything blocking your PS3's line of sight (or if you want to turn on/off the PS3 from another room).

The remote control has a very nice feel to it, and makes for a much more enjoyable movie-watching experience.

You'll probably find, like myself, that you use this PS3 remote for general navigation for the PSN Store, XMB and even web-browsing. For such a low-price, you just can't go wrong with it.

This is a great accessory for your ps3. Don't buy the third party remotes...this works great without additional connectors. Just point, program, and enjoy.

For those of you who have kids that grab the PS3 controller when you want to watch a movie, this is the controller for you. It looks and duplicates a NORMAL remote in every way, so even parents can use it comfortably. Take control of your Blue Ray movies on YOUR PS3. Your kids will be upset, but they're teenagers, it's OK.
Also, the instruction manual that come with it for setting up the Bluetooth function are clear and concise. The Bluetooth is how the remote sees the PS3. The PS3 uses bluetooth, instead of infrared, is why you can't program your other remotes for your PS3.
The faceplate functions are clear and easy to find. I only use the basic ones to watch movies, but they are well layed out and I don't double hit buttons. Overall, everything I expected it to be at an affordable price. As usual, Amazon delivered it pronto.
