Product works great. It charges my iTouch Gen 2, but doesn't charge my wife's iPhone. Music sounds much cleaner and clearer with this connector. I recommned it.

This item worked like a charm. I have a KD-LH300 and a 1st gen iPod touch. This connector not only worked with no buzzing noise and no crackling noise, it also charged it! I connected an old and brand new nano and it charged those too. I don't have anything connected to my stereo aside from Sony explode speakers. I am not sure how others have had problems. This is a much better alternative to the jvc brand adapter. If you have an iPod touch this is a good choice. It works through the line in setting on the radio and has great sound. The volume is not controlled through the iPod, just like my desk docking station that I have at work. I can use the iPod to move through songs and even play movies. It can't hurt to try this with your set up and if you are unlucky and have problems you only wasted twenty bucks at the most. The alternattive is fifty bucks and still doesn't have confirmation of working or not .

Beware this product works with ipod classic and also ipod nano but does not work with the new ipod touch.It will tell you no ipod in the ipod mode

got my first one and it didn't fit properly into multiple ipods. so only my front speakers would work unless i held the attachment with pressure at certain angles..which, surprisingly, isn't safe while driving.
company charged me for a new one as soon as i called them and mailed it immediately. then upon receiving my old one refunded my money.
i think i may have paid to ship the old one to them though. it all came on and off my card rather than showing up as refunds and i don't track my finances well at all so i might be wrong.
