this cd case is really nice. it holds up well and was the best price for quality that i could find.

(3 stars) - OK if you can find it for cheap enough
In theory this is a decent enough storage rack. It's supposed to hold 76 cds per shelf. However, once you open it up and read the instructions, the load limit per shelf is 15 lbs. This is considerably less than 76 cds and cases. My shelves were sagging from the moment I filled them.

Still, I got it for cheap, and it is nice to be able to have the bulk of my collection all in one place. As long as you're not expecting something better than it is, it's OK.

Good product, easy to assemble, reversible shelves for different "looks." Solid, lots of room. The shipping was rather costly, though, about a third of the original price, but I knew that going in, and it was, all-in-all, worth it.

(4 stars) - Good value for the price
From a distance it's hard to tell that this is actually pressboard with a woodgrain contact paper and a paper back. Once it's constructed it's fairly sturdy, but you may want to opt for attaching it to the wall for added stability [hardware included]. The instructions were easy to follow, but I would add one thing: the front is rounded, thus making the attachment of the back difficult unless you place it on a couple of towels to prevent rocking. All told, I think it took less than 45 minutes to assemble.

This is a great item. It does not take up a lot of space, it fit right next to a doorway in our house without being in the way, and holds a lot of CDs and DVDs. The price is especially great for a nice-looking and useful item like this, I highly recommend it.
