(5 stars) - perfect size and shape
This cruet has been the answer to my EVOO drizzle problems.
As you may have found, the openings on large bottles of EVOO are large and I had trouble controlling the amount used. Since using this cruet, I have been able to control the amount of EVOO in stir fry veggies, fish, etc.
I love it. It looks small but when you are using EVOO, a little goes a long way. I would highly recommend this product.

(5 stars) - Sweet Little Cruet
This cruet is the perfect size for keeping olive oil at room temperature without it going rancid. It's sturdy, doesn't drip, the oil comes out at a nice controlled rate, is easy to clean and is very attractive. I wish I had ordered two more, one for my vinegar and one for seasoned olive oil. I probably will do so the next time I order something on Amazon, and get several extra's for gifts.

The only con I can think of is that the spout opening is small enough that you can't add sesonings above a certain size to have flavored olive oil for salads. My guess is that every cruet has that problem. I'm sure I'll find a way around that.

I just got this in my hands and am absolutely delighted with it.

It's a gem. It fits perfectly in my palm. It's elegant and minimalist. Every part it needs to function is there, and nothing else. No fuss, no muss. It's just big enough to handle comfortably, and no bigger. The material is simple unpretentious high quality. Same stuff as a lab beaker.

Comments of not being large enough to store oil don't make sense. Your oil comes from the store in it's own storage bottle or can, right?

Likewise, fears and worries of being too thin are pointless. It's glass. If you drop it, it will break. You screwed up. Buy a new one.

The cost is modest.

This cruet is a quality product, and works as touted, with no drip or leakage. All glass, it even looks great on a marble counter-top. Of course, holding only 5 ounces, it's not intended for those occasions requiring large quantities of oil; however, it's perfect when a splash or a tablespoon or two is needed.

First, get one of these beautiful cruets for yourself, then check your gift list. It's a winner, and everyone who has seen it wants one, too! In my well-supplied kitchen, this is my treasured toy of the moment and earned an instant, permanent place on the kitchen counter. It is beautiful, balanced and truly dripless. The fine design, reminiscent of a perfume bottle, allows very controlled dispensing for the perfect olive oil drizzle without overpouring. The globe fits in the palm of your hand and the top does not fall out when held upside down. This leaves your other hand free. It is indispensible in general and appreciated when I am baking bread and need a few quick drops of oil with messy hands. It is beautiful enough to be art and practical enough for solid every day use. The design is brilliant. I find it helpful to reduce butter use even further to enjoy olive oil drizzled on grilled bread.
