CUSTOMER COMMENTS: I just wanted to let the staff at golf outlets know that I love my elliptical bike. This particular bike is really a smooth ride and easy on the ankles, knees, hips and back. I've attached some before and after pictures so you can see what this machine did for me!!! A colleague of mine was so impressed at how fast i lost the weight he came over my house to see this machine that I'd been talking about, it took him all of 30 seconds of riding it before he asked me where he could purchase one! Product Reviews

(5 stars) - Excited to begin
Getting a 30 inch 2x4 tonight before I give it a good workout...I read all of the reviews carefully before purchasing and figured I could live if it only held up for 3 months. I weigh 200 lbs, the manual says 250 is the limit. The pedals feel unstable, but I think if you balance on the beams beneath them, they should hold up ok. The right handle is wobbly, not sure yet how I'll fix that. It was packaged very well, all screws in a bag. For the record, I am not good at assembling things and this took me under an hour to do alone, it was fairly simple. I think the manual has been redone since some of these reviews were written. Some of the screws are a bitch, but if you try them out before trying to assemble them, you can figure out which one goes where. So far, so good, though I was only on it 10 mins tonight. After I get the 2X4 and give it a 45 minute shot, I'll edit this review if needed.

(3 stars) - Not a bad little machine but it does have a very weak link
For the price, this elliptical machine is nicely made. The assembly was a snap, taking about 20 minutes to complete. Anyone with basic mechanical skills and simple tools will be able to assemble it. The instructions are well laid out and easy to follow. Since it must be built on an exercise bike frame, the pedals approach a very steep angle at the top of the stride making your foot slide forward which presses your toes against the inside of your sneakers. You can learn to put up with this by simply moving your feet back periodically. The machine seems to be stable during exercising and I didn't feel as though it might tip. The only adjustment that the user can make is the tension on the flywheel. The movement is generally smooth but if you tend to slow down during your routine, the machine might feel like its binding until you get it back up to speed.

So what's the weak link? The plastic pedals. They are secured onto the frame with (2) 3/8" bolts which pass through holes in the pedals then through the frame. When you tighten the bolts, the plastic gets compressed and this weakens the plastic. About 5 minutes into my initial usage, the right pedal ripped right completely off the frame. Upon investigation, I noticed that the plastic under the bolt heads had fatigued which caused the pedal to completely rip off the machine. See my photos showing this problem area. Luckily I was holding onto the handles and I was able to keep from taking a nasty tumble. I fixed this by putting a washer between both bolt heads and the pedal but now the bolt head isn't flush with the surface of the pedal as designed, creating a possible hazard to the bottoms of the feet if I were to step on the pedal in thin soled shoes. Now the left pedal has begun to loosen and I will "fix" that in the same manner.

There is a discrepancy on the info page for this elliptical. One user posted photos showing a seat. There is no seat with this machine. I was a little disappointed but I'll live with that.

Despite the pedal problem, the quality of machine is consistent with its price. It will provide a decent workout but don't expect it to feel like a $1000 machine.

(1 stars) - Not for tall people!
I am six feet tall, and this machine is unusable for me - the handles are so short that I have to hunch down to grip them, which gives me back pain. As a result, I always feel like I'm sliding forward, my toes pressing up against the front of the pedals.

This could be a decent machine if only they'd been mindful of all of their customers and made the handles just six inches longer!

Now I need to find a short person to sell this to so I can get some of my money back.

(1 stars) - DONT BUY IT
I'm so upset I wasted my money on this. Its not stable and rocks from side to side when using it. One of the handles doesnt fit right and wiggles while using it. But the worst part is... you lean really far forward! Its like tryin to elliptical while bending over! If you dont want a back injury, id spend a little more money for something decent.
