The Epson C88+ has a high-capacity, 120-sheet input tray that holds various paper sizes, up to 8.5" x 14".

(4 stars) - Got 2.5 years of heavy duty full color printing out of my last one
I just purchased my second Epson C88+. I do a LOT of 8.5" x 14" full-color printing, I'd say 12 full color pages every week. My last C88+ lasted two and a half years before the internal cleaning sponges got too clogged with ink. The new one arrived yesterday and I fully expect to get as much use out of it as the previous one. By the way, the new one is considerably faster on full page photo printing, so without changing the model number, Epson has obviously made improvements to the printer. Other users have mentioned high ink consumption, but I do not find this to be the case. Over the years I've tried various off-brand ink cartridges as well as cartridge refilling. In my experience it not only ruins the printer, but the output quality is diminished as well. You get what you pay for. I only use real Epson dura-brite ink replacement cartridges. I recommend this printer as a reliable, medium duty, no-frills inkjet. Nowadays everyone is trying to sell all-in-ones, but I like to keep my functions separate - laser printer for text, scanner for scanning and faxing and this inkjet for photo and other color printing. Use good paper and good ink and you will get excellent results.

This is my second C88, they have decent quality, they're fast and reliable. The ink cartridges are separate and if you need a direct feed through to handle heaver stock it works well.

(1 stars) - Don't EVER by Epson printers - they ROB you on ink
This is the third Epson printer I bought (I bought 2 at one time).
They CONSISTENTLY BURN through ink. They use a 'chip' that tells the printer the cartridge is out of ink when it is half full! There is nothing you can do to make it work after that!
They are also programmed to reject generic ink.
Their cartridges are ridiculously expensive!
Check out the class action suit against Epson.
DO NOT BUY - UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY ON THEIR PROPRIETARY INK CARTRIDGES

I have used this printer for several years now. I have been very pleased with the quality and features. It is very easy to set up and use. There is a newer version of this printer available and I have found that this older version is MUCH BETTER. This version will allow you to print a heavier cardstock of 80# cover. The newer version will not. I will continue to use this product as long as they make it.

Purchased 3 of these printers in past 2 years for use in small office. All three have stopped working. We use only genuine Epson ink and they get only moderate use. When they worked, they were fine but believe very poor quality.
