My wife and I have only used these as two separate beds. We purchased these along with a battery-powered pump and all worked out perfectly. My only hesitation on a five-star rating is probably just the reality of using an external pump and that second or two of losing air before you can close the valve. I suspect that an airbed with a built-in battery-powered pump could achieve a slightly "firmer" bed.

These quickbeds worked well for a grandkids sleepover. They inflated quickly and store nicely in a bundle. After the kids switched beds I ended up on the quickbed and it was very comfortable. I got a good night's sleep.

Bought this because of all the reviews about Mexico that stated that most beds in all inclusive resorts were hard as a rock. I have arthritis in my spine and cannot sleep in normal beds. We filled this king sized air bed
and placed under the mattress pad, it was great!!!! I highly recommend it.

Bought this mattress so I could start camping again. I needed something not so low to the ground so that I could get up easier. This is great! Also it opens to a king size for when I have guests camp with me. It sets up and down quick and easy and is very comfortable. Great for that overnight visitor at home too. Holds air well for several day's use. It does not come with the pump, I bought the Coleman 12volt Quick pump which works great.
