(5 stars) - Love, love, love it!
I was a little hesitant to purchase this shampoo and conditioner since it is a bit more expensive than other options. Boy, is it worth it! First, it will last a long, long time. A little shampoo/cond. goes a long ways on each dog. Second, make sure you follow the directions. Massage shampoo in for 5 minutes then follow with the same steps for the conditioner. It gets so much extra fur from each dog, leaves them so soft and shiny and smelling so nice. It is a must to use both the shampoo and conditioner. At the end of the bath I use the dog chamois as well and think I finally have the perfect process. I have given 4 baths now to 4 different dogs: Jack Russell/Min Pin mix, German Shepherd/Husky (hairy dog!) mix, Lab/Retriever mix and a Retriever/Visla mix. I was completely satisfied with each bath I gave.

If I follow the directions and work this into the coat for the suggested time, it really helps get hair off. I know, because the hair forms clumps on my hands. It is easy to get most of the clumps off my hands and into the trash. Better that than all over the house without this product. I have not tried other rinses, so don't know if this is true for all rinses.

Picture the scenario, "A beautiful newly stained dark hardwood floor, densely carpeted with... DOG HAIR! True, it could be swept away; but only to return just as quickly as it had been removed." Imagine my horror. People could not come to my house, less they would discover my hairy secret. Then I discovered this line of products. In combinated with the shampoo and the shedding comb my life has returned to normal, and people may now enter my home. It is no exaggeration to say that this line of products has changed my life!

To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about the "deShedding Solution", but I decided to purchase it anyways, along with the "Furminator Medium deShedding Tool". Although we began using the deShedding Tool immediately on our continously-shedding Beagle (and are impressed with its results), the deShedding Solution sat next to the bathtub for two months before we decided to give it a try. And after using it on him, all I can say is, you'd better have a filter on your drain to catch the tons of hair this stuff releases. Boy, does it deliver!! Two days ago, we had brushed him out with the deShedding Tool, and, as usual, got out several handfuls of undercoat and loose top coat. Today, we shampooed him using his regular shampoo, followed by the deShedding Solution. We followed the directions on the bottle exactly, massaging the product into his coat for 5 minutes. Then rinsed and rinsed and rinsed. Our jaws dropped at the amount of undercoat and loose hair that came off of him ...even though we had brushed him just two days previous. We got several handfuls of hair, and then there was the ton of stuff that went down the drain. We decided to rinse him one last time, and even more hair went down the drain. I was concerned that the drain would get clogged. (It didn't, but next time we'll use a filter of some kind to protect against that possibility). We were blown away by this product. My husband commented that our Beagle has never felt "cleaner" (meaning a well-groomed coat), even though he gets a bath once every two weeks, and is brushed out every couple of days. Contrary to the report of another reviewer, we found that the Solution didn't leave a gummy residue on our dog's coat. Then again, we rinsed him for about 5 minutes. We highly recommend the "deShedding Solution" (which is not a shampoo, but is similar to a conditioner) as well as the deShedding Tool. Both work great on our Beagle. I think we'll give the "deShedding Shampoo" a try, too.

I HAVE A BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG AND HAVE NEVER HAD SOOOOOOOO MUCH HAIR COME OFF.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
