(5 stars) - Out, damned spot
I already own a Bissell ProHeat carpet cleaner. However it is clumsy to lug out for individual spots. With plenty of cats there are bound to be spots. Also they have a tendency to knock over plants.

This animal is great for what it is. However there are mixed results. Setting it up was quite easy. The carpet is designed to use water for cleaning so that is what I used. Clean water went out and dirty old smelly water cam back in. the water is used up in two 6 minute cycles. Everything looked great except when it dried some of the stains looked like they were just spread around. Next I will try adding a tad of the cleaner. I think the manual button is broken now and may need to have it looked at. However I cannot complain as what it has cleaned up has pad for its self the first day. It does require the manual wand up against floorboards and book cases.

(2 stars) - A MUST have if you have Pets and Stairs
I purchased this cleaner recently to use on the pet stains and the stairs. The fact that it works on spots, and has a attachment so that you can do stairs and high traffic areas such as door ways makes this unit worth every cent. I did one pet spot on the carpet, leaving me with a extremely clean circle, which only demonstrated how dirty the rest of the carpet was. I also plan on using it on the car seats etc.

ok, so i have never left a review for ANYTHING EVER. but this thing is amazing. i am writing this review firstly, because i read the reviews of what other people think as part of research of things i am contemplating purchasing, and have yet to find one that really felt like it was on hit. yes it goes through carpet cleaner like nobody's business, but, what does arm n hammer cost? practically nothing. that's my point, yeah sure it says oh no, don't use ANYTHING but what's recommended....but, its baking soda for crying out loud. i mean, come on. i used this thing to clean my entire apartment before i moved out, it was a pain sure, but possible. and for the price, you can't beat it. also, nevermind the special one for pet stains. its the stuff you use, not what you use it in. and the grand finale? candle wax. yes, i went there. CANDLE WAX. i got candle wax out of my crappy apartment carpet, with this machine. the dreaded candle wax. entire web sites are littered with how to get wax out of your carpet. but this spot-bot thingy actually got it out, i swear. i was shocked. it took a couple times on the auto mode whatchacallitdoohitchey, but it got it out, and that's what matters, folks. if it can get out candle wax, its worth its weight in PLATINUM for real. not like it weighs a whole lot, but you know what i mean. and if you are afraid of a little circle where it cleaned, then you should take better care of your carpet, other than that, if you wipe the spot with a wash cloth while its still damp, it should be fine. overall, i give it a 10+.

This works great. It beats scrubbing at spots on hands and knees and certainly is a lot easier than hauling out the big carpet cleaner.

(4 stars) - worked great yet not a carpet solution sipper
love the "get up and walk away" theme except for when you have 2 young ones who love anything that looks like a toy! buy the carpet solution in bulk or use a bottle sprayer to save because this little machine "GULPS" solutions. but it does get the job done very well and i have had no problems with my little toy. it is also noticeably loud so if you live in a apt or the likes, you might want to do it during daylight hours.
