I just used this on an old honey oak dresser. My husband walked passed it and could not believe the difference. It doesn't look like new, but the appearance of this much loved piece is much improved.

I have light wood floors - just redone, and with furniture being moved around and kids coming over, lots scratches, rubbed off areas and scuffs. I saw this product for dark wood floors everywhere, but not light - so I paid premium to get it internet. Basically - once your finish is compromised, there is no going back. This product was like a heavy duty Pledge, but my scratches and rub outs - though shinier, were no less evident at the end of the day. Maybe I expected too much. Disappointed.

This is the best product we have ever used for restoring a wood furniture finish appearance and we have been using for years and highly recommend it. It soaks into the wood and provides both a better look and better protection for wood that has been physically damaged or distressed. Old English Scratch Cover is the next best thing to refinishing as it can restore lost warmth to the look of the wood. For bad damage, we have found that it works best to generously apply and let it soak into the wood for awhile before cleanning off the excess. Similar to the way you would apply a stain. Even though the liquid is quite dark, we find that it does not over power lighter woods. We do use both the dark and light products and actually bought more for family members to use. Be careful though, it will stain carpet and your fingers so you need to take care when applying it.

I couldn't for the life od me find this product in a store - they only had the dark color avail so I had to buy it online, but the shipping was almost as much as the product. The product itself works great - got a lot of scratches to go away 9or look to go away) but the shipping fee is just too much.
