(5 stars) - Stunning...just stunning
If you like the works of groups like Mothertounge and Libana this is a CD for you. The chants are simple but beautiful. I got the download and actually went back to get the CD afterwards because I consider this a good disk to own. The chants are almost childlike in their structure, but are more complex every time you listen. The second chant is based on parts of The Charge of the Goddess and almost bring me to tears when listening to this while hiking one day. I only wish they had more CDs out like this. It's not all `new-agey' or over the top. It's a real heartfelt CD that will bring you closer to the Lord and Lady.

These songs are nice to play as background music, in my opinion.


They produce a nice relaxed feeling and the words are very positive.

All 3 songs are very pretty poems read to music and sung repetetively to induce a feeling of sort of a calm trance if you will.

Very simple music, women's voices only. no electronica. Mostly flutes, drums, guitars, tambourines; like folk music.

The prettiest part is from 8:22 thru to 9:50 of song 2. An instrumental lull, with a woman murmuring and a lilting flute that is very soothing yet uplifts, too. I just want to close my eyes and fall into it!

I really wish they would've increased and expanded on just that part or made a separate song of it.

A mesmerizing, soothing CD to listen to while working, reading, relaxing as well.
