 (3 stars) - Rip easily, so-so containment
My son is in the stage where he poops only in these. They are cut high on the thigh, and often don't contain everything, so it ends up in the sheets. Gross.
The other problem is that the side tabs rip extremely easily as you are trying to get them on. We've had several rip this way.
I tried pampers easy ups, and they are far better on both counts. They are cut lower, thus providing better containment, and the sides don't rip, I don't have to worry about it as we are getting them on and off. They are also softer and a little more cloth like - better all around.

The sides really do make a difference. I can put a clean Pull-Up on like a diaper, without taking shoes and pants off my child. And no more torn pants that have to be taped or thrown away.
 (4 stars) - Great For Pulling Up and Down
My two year decided he was going to potty train himself after watching big brother use the potty. At first I still put him in diapers in case of an accident but its difficult to reuse a diaper again and again because the tabs stop sticking and we had to take them off completely and lay him down and put back on. Pull-ups are great to use when potty training. My son can go to the bathroom himself and just pull his pull-ups back up himself. They are good for small accidents but pull-ups are not as absorbent as diapers. The main advantage is just that they pull-up, a necessity during potty-training.
We do still use diapers at night. Even the nighttime pull-ups are not absorbent enough. At night we use Huggies Overnites Baby-Shaped Diapers, Step 4 (22-37 Lbs), 31-Count Diapers, they are great, very, very absorbent.

These are the best training pants I have found and even when we stray from the huggies we come right back QUICKLY! They pull on easily and have the side closure.
These were advertised here on Amazon for cheaper than I could have gotten them in the store. Otherwise I usually get them at the nearest big box store to save a couple bucks.

Great pull ups, be sure to get night time ones for night time...because they will not hold a nights worth of pee!
