"sing yourself silly" is a classic dvd. children will love it. it has james taylor singing jellyman kelly with the children from sesame street.it also has other videos including "put down the duckie", "everything in the wrong place ball" and "mary had a bicycle".

I have several older sesame street VHS tapes that i was gifted when we had twins and I thought I would buy a few more DVD's to add to our collection. This is just a terrible mix of VERY old clips and none are good to sing along to let alone sing yourself silly. Don't waste your money.

What a great show. I think I enjoy this more than my baby! At 3-4 mths she didnt bother about it but now she is a little older 6- 8 mths she reacts and smiles a lot. A lot of cute noises and fluffy puppets to keep her enthralled.

(4 stars) - Now, that was silly!
This video would be totally worth it for the final number alone! "Put Down the Ducky (if you want to play the saxaphone)" is a classic, and the muppets preshadow many Muppet Show cast members. Plus there is nothing NOT awesome about Honkers and Dingers and YipYips. Other favourites are "Jellyman Kelly," sung by James Taylor, "One Banana," and "Everything In The Wrong Place Ball," featuring Oscar the Grouch. The weakest song is probably "Waving Goodbye With My Heart."

Also worth watching, though somewhat more contrived, is the "Get Up And Dance" video, also of the same era.

This is an awesome video, one of my all-time favorites for children. It contains my very favorite song about the number ten, the one that goes "ten tiny turtles on the telephone." All the other songs are fantastic as well. My daughter actually gets tired of watching this video before I do!
