Great movie for the whole family. Very insirational & scenes acurately depicted that era. A great movie that should be watched & enjoyed periodically.

Chariots of Fire is one of the best movies of all time. It is the classic "Sporting Movie" and the inspirational depiction about 2 great British athletes in the early 20's is outstanding. For anyone who needs a lift and hasn't seen this masterpiece - do yourself a favour. It's just a great film.

This movie is about several Olympic level runners and the different ways they approach running and life.
It is a movie that is not only entertaining but also thought provoking.
If you want mindless entertainment then this is not the film for you.
But if you want substance presented in an entertaining way then I believe you will enjoy this movie.
One the the greatest movies of all time in my opinion and certainly one worth watching.
Would have preferred both full screen and wide screen versions included on one dvd, but this one is full screen.

Had been looking for the DVD for awhile in stores with disappointment. Found it here and ordered. Received a little sooner than expected. Knew a little about the story line but after watching, learned more than lead to believe. Enjoyed the DVD from a historical perspective as well as from an athletic/runner perspective. Amazing what one can do when challenged.
