I bought 2 of these games for my great granddaughters for
Christmas, so haven't had the opportunity to use the games. I know they'll enjoy it as another great granddaughter has Horse-opoly and loves it. They all love horses.

My grand-daughter is so happy with this game!!!!!!!! She has played it over and over with anyone who will agree to play. This was a great choice and one she loves.

This was a birthday present for my horse-crazy niece, age 8. We played the game as soon as she opened it. The game lasted 4 hours... That was a bit long, but the kids had a great time. The second time around, they had figured out if you trade cards and get all of the same color, so you can put barns on the properties, the game goes more quickly. Overall, I would recommend this over some of the other versions of Monopoly (like the Barbie edition, for instance.) It does teach a bit about the different breeds of horses, and the costs associated with them!

My 7-year-old Granddaughter loves horses. While playing Horse-Opoly, she had to add the numbers on the dice, count the right number of spaces, read the directions on cards drawn, and count money. Some of it was a bit challenging for her, but because it was all about horses, it held her attention for several hours.
