This stool arrived only 3 days after purchase with standard shipping. When I opened the box and removed the steel base I was suprised by it's weight and durability. The seat has real leather and the bottom of it is a very hard plastic with a large steel adapter to go on the steel base. After it was installed, the seat was a little loose. I wrapped the top inch of the post with 3 layers of athletic tape and put the seat back on. Works great!

(5 stars) - Comfortable and Solid
This is by far the best value for one of these stool period. I have looked everywhere and this is only a fraction of similar ones cost. Granted you won't have the embosed velvet fabric of some, but the stand is solid metal and the seat base is black metal was well. The foam has good pressure relief and the fake leather is flexible and looks like it will last. You must tighten the seat clamp down well to get it to stay on the stand, but all else is great.
