Is this a utensil or an appliance or a gadget? Whatever it is, it is wonderful. Really a helpful item to have around, even for something being cooked on the stovetop. My husband uses it when he grills.

We have become totally dependent on this little gadget!

I got this thermometer last year and it's never done me wrong. It's got a nice side clip so I have it clipped to the utensil holder in my kitchen, it's always available.

We compared its metering to a digital laser thermometer, and it seems to be spot on accurate.
Very good value for the price.

Would constantly under and overcook meat due to an old flimzy thermometer. As soon as this thermometer arrived the temperatures I now recieve are accurate and my dishes are perfect. I would strongly urge anyone who cooks to get this product. Well worth every penny.

It just does not work. I don't know if it's a bad product or the battary's problem.

The actual operation of the thermometer is fine, but what I recieved is not at all what is displayed in the picture that is shown. What I recieved was a rather cumbersomely sized, wedge-shaped device with the readout located on the side of the instrument, not on the top (end) as shown. Really a bit large to carry around in ones shirt pocket without noticing its bulk. Carrying it a tool pouch might be risky as well. With the controls located on the side, there is the possibility of other tools coming in contact with the on/off switch, thereby energizing the unit accidently and draining the battery. Not suitable for my intended purpose, however, my wife is now the proud owner of a very nice digital thermometer for the kitchen.
