My husband works in the construction business so of course it's difficult to get a hot cup of coffee when needed. He loves this! He starts working around 6am and the coffee he has left (if any) is usually still warm. (this is around 6pm). Gotta love it!

(5 stars) - GREAT large volume thermos
Despite the fact that I never preheat the thermos with hot water before adding my coffee, thermos keeps it hot for 24 hours! 1 liter is about exactly how much I drink throughout the day. My only gripe (and it's a little silly) is that you can't drink straight from the thermos - you have to pour it into the lid, which functions as a cup. So it's not as on-the-go as smaller thermoses, but then smaller thermoses are smaller!

This is a FANTASTIC thermos. I use it for hot tea and it works so well I can't fill it with straight boiling water or else I'd be scalding my tongue all day. I fill it 1/2 with boiling water and 1/2 with cold tap water -- 8 hours later, I'm still almost burning my tongue (in a good way). I've filled it with tea in the morning, left it overnight, and the next morning it's still lukewarm.

I agree it's a little hard to wash since it's tall/skinny, but it's totally worth it. It's a great shape for putting at the bottom of a bag or on the side. Very solid construction of stainless steel.

I'm buying one of these for christmas presents for everyone in my family! I'm using it every day -- at $28 it's a great value for the amount of use I'm getting out of it.

I bought this thermos about 3 years ago. It's had on/off duty as an every day thermos during that time and its still holding up like a champ. It keeps my coffee piping hot for about 5 hours, and acceptably hot for about another 3.

Make no mistake, if it isn't "Thermos" brand, it isn't the same!!!

I'd totally buy this again. I'm actually in the market for another now (larger thermos) and I won't even look at anything that isn't "Thermos" brand.
