| Sony MDR-J10 h.ear Headphones with Non-Slip Design (Orange) |
|
Product Details Lightweight and secure enough for vigorous active use, the MDRJ10 headphones--part of Sony's h.ear line--feature a comfortable, vertical, in-ear form, a clip-on fit that follows the contour of your ears, and a stable, non-slip design built to withstand exercising, skating, dancing, or other sports. The MDRJ10 earcups use an open-air design that lets you hear ambient sound. The MDRJ10's clip-on design is hair-friendly and keeps the size of the headphones small. Their tangle-free storage cord is adjustable, making for easy storage in a backpack, briefcase or purse. The headphones come with a 3.5-foot cord, and their L-shaped plug is tailor-made for active use and won't bend and break like an upright plug might.
Product Reviews (2 stars) - Stopped working after 9 months. I received the earphones for Christmas last year. They worked well for about 9 months, and then suddenly they stopped working. I use them at my Health Club, and they stopped working on all the machines. When I called Sony, they could not help me without a Sales Receipt.
(4 stars) - Nice earphone Really good design, I don't need to worry about it, when I am jogging.
the sound quality is OK, compare to its price.
And the earphone offer a decent comfortability.
(5 stars) - Work great, best deal for price I've been using this pair of headphones for a few years now. They have great sound, and are very comfortable.
The downside, is that I end up buying a new pair every year because usually one ear goes bad after a while. But great headphones at $12 a year (sometimes less, I had one pair that lasted two years) that get used every day? Not a bad deal, a definitely not one I've been able to find a competitor for that is worthwhile.
(5 stars) - Wonderful improvement over Ear Bud Head Phones This head phone is truly wonderful. Lives up to the Sony Audio brand. It delivers audio quality, product quality and design elements far above the line of acceptance for the given price range.
Reference: Listening to the new Mark Knopfler release over this phones plugged to my iPhone( CD converted in loss-less format, not AAC).
Pros:
- Ergonomics : Feather light, I don't even feel that I am wearing anything over my ears (other than my glasses - yeah! Sony designers kept us in mind ). Does not pop off like the ear-buds do. Not to repeat the other engineering qualities that other reviewers noted ...
- Audio quality : Comparable to other Sony products in this price range. That is, extremely pleasant, has a wide dynamic range, virtually free of any noise.
Cons:
- cant think of any.
(3 stars) - Stay put, decent sound... but fuchsia, not orange I have small to medium-sized ears and all the earbuds I've tried either fell out while jogging or hurt miserably -- or both. But not these: the MDR-J10 stays in place during my workout, so I'm not constantly readjusting them. The sound quality is what you'd expect from $10-20 earphones: not great, but then again... why spend $100 on earphones you'll be throwing into a sweaty gym bag? The biggest downside I've noted thus far: the sticker on the box says "orange" and the photo on Amazon looks orange too -- and I would've been OK with orange. But what I received in the mail is fuchsia and, subsequently, quite hideous. So if you want comfortable, inexpensive headphones to work out in... I recommend these Sony MDR-J10s -- but suggest you instead get them in white or black (also available on Amazon). Unless you actually LIKE fuchsia, in which case you'll love these.
