Like most of the other reviewers said, the workout is very dated. The ab workouts are very good though. There are some portions where you need some kind of box, but I just used my stability ball and still felt like I got a good workout. I did feel though that each day's ab routine was too short and I wound up doing about 2 or 3 together. Otherwise it was pretty good. Nothing new, but nice combinations. I didn't try the Tough Tape portion simply because just from looking at the screencaps from the different scence it looked like I needed too much Firm Equipment I didn't have. All in all, I enjoyed the abs portion.

I love this video workout! I read a lot of comments about the "cheesy eighties music and wardrobe"...who cares! It's still the best workout routine I've tried (and I've tried a lot!) The music is acutally perfect for the workout, the instructors are great and you get a good workout for your whole body. The stretch at the end doesn't seem like much, but it obviously does the trick because I've never gotten sore from not stretching an area properly.

I must admit that I have only done the abs portion of this dvd so far. It offers a pretty good ab workout but is a bit cheesey for my taste. I'll continue to use the program in my routine. I like the segmented aspect of the program. If you don't mind cheese, it is worth the money.

"Five day abs" is fantastic because the workouts are tough and effective, but short enough that you can squeeze one in to every day. And because there are five routines to rotate through, it's not boring.
