Yes! the best ive ever heard!! you can really tell that these guys jelled together as a group...brilliant! if you dont own this record then buy it! it will be money well spent ;)

I've often said that this is the best band Steve Stils ever played in and I still believe that now. It is one very tight and practiced group and the songs just jump out of the speakers. The four sides of this album, diverse as they are, hold together as a whole more perfect than the parts and yet each side stands on its own. It rocks - no doubt - but also provides a perfect vehicle for Stills voice on the softer and more thoughtful pieces with the pitch pefect harmonies with Chris Hillman. This is a timeless record that stands up well and I still listen to it all the time. A can't miss addition to any collection.

(5 stars) - An accompishment to say the least/The iceman is a COOL cat!
This is the 3rd time I've written this review,please tell me it isn't posted 3 times. Any how, the iceman has fast shipping, good communication, and incredibely low prices-highly recommended seller. Now, onto Manassas. This vinyl is one I can say is playable from start to finish. I like the country rock and latin rythms that Stephen Stills creates. Not hard rock, not yawn folk rock, but just plain good music. Hard to believe the guy's not more famous than he is. If you like CSNY and don't know this record (like me when I bought it), take a chance and you'll be glad you did. I'm 35 and just getting into Mr. Stills thanks mostly to a couple of his buddies named Jimi Hendrix and Neil Young. What I'm discovering is some excellent music that still sounds fresh today. Also, I got the Classic Records 200 gram version which has a full sound that allows the listener to hear every different instrument that went into this production unlike a CD that tends to focus on vocals and one or two guitars. I often listen to cd's and wonder what happened to the bass guitar and the background vocals, but they're both alive and well on this album. Also, the rice crispy trio (snap, crackle, & pop) do NOT make an appearance, which is good to hear.

(5 stars) - If This Ain't Perfect I Don't Know What Is
There are some albums that leave you pining for more, such as the Derek and the Dominos "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" recordings. This is that type of CD. You want more and more and more............. Stephen Stills was at his peak, the Manassas band was awesome. Guess we have to settle for what we have but -- I can't stop thinking about what could have been. This CD is absolutely PERFECT and absolutely ESSENTIAL. Grab it!
