This is the best & most comprehensive compilation of window treatment information for the trade I have ever seenDesign Directory of Bedding, The. The illustrations and clear & concise information is easy enough for the novice and not too elementary for the more seasoned or sophisticated designer. It's a great reference guide.

This is a great book with a lot of useful practical information, clearly explained with drawings and pictures, calculations and other needed information for window dressing and decoration. THIS BOOK IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This resource for interior designers and workrooms is so complete.
I thought it would be about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch thick - it's twice that, and includes a CD to use for presentations to clients or reference to your workroom. Beautifully done. So many ideas!!

There are many window treatment styles that I have never seen before and I work as a seamstress making custom window treatments. From contemporary to classic, to more modern styles are available in this book. It would be nice if there was a way to purchase window treatment patterns.

The book is very helpful in teaching the basics of drapery design. The cd that comes with it is great (it contains a black/white picture of every design in the book). This book is most helpful for interior designers and decorators that work with a sewing workroom and have access to designer fabric that is 54"-118" wide; it really isn't for do it yourself types.
