Product Reviews (5 stars) - great charater building book this book is fantastic, the story is fun. I bought one, my 2 boys repeats reading every single stories. we practice every single habits at this summer when we went back to china. They also translate the stories to their cousin in Chinese, their cousin likes the book, too. So we left the book to them. Then they begged me for another book. This is the second book I bought.
(5 stars) - My seven year old loved it! The characters in this book were easy to relate to. My seven year old and I read this book together. We read about one habit each night. He couldn't wait to sit down and read each night. We loved the characters and shared good laughs and conversation! I look forward to reading it with him again and again to help him understand and apply these principles to his life.
(5 stars) - To The Point Message That Will Reach Your Child Because It's Fun! This book gives you a solid direction to follow when trying so hard to instill in your children what you know are good long-lasting values but can't always find the 'child-friendly' words or ways to deliver them. I'm reading this to my 3 1/2 year old. Yes....3....not 13. He understands language and has from a young age. So the reading is not above his level to grasp the message contained. The phrases used in each chapter as key notes of the message are ones that any child can remember.
This book is a much needed resource that enables me to talk about the various things I've tried to teach him but in a way that draws upon memorable characters, impressionable drawings and a complete thought-provoking message. He has looked forward to reading each chapter AND talking about the questions at the end of each of them. We are able to draw upon the stories and examples of each character as we go through our day....which in turn redirects our choices and therefore our results....happiness - this book is a 'win-win'!
(5 stars) - Impressed with Content Great ideas to present to young children to develope thinking skills in everyday social interaction.
(5 stars) - Great! It's a great book.
I have three kids 6, 4 and 3 years old, I started reading/describing the characters and the whole place where each story happens...
They learned every character description and recognize each place of 7 oaks immediatly and love to show me where the stories are happening...
It's incredible how their little minds remember the habits already taught when they apply on their daily life. Every night they ask me to read it...
Excuse me for my " not so good" english... but spanish is my language.
I really recommend it
